SMD2000 Superslim Agnus cards released

A short note to announce the superslim Agnus cards for the SMD2000 have now been constructed, verified working, and are released on Github.  Links:

The SMD Agnus cards have been made shorter (i.e. in the vertical direction) so they now fit underneath a 12 mm CD Rom drive in the Silverstone ML-09 case.  This had to be achieved by adding an internal GND and VCC layer to the PCB, so they have also been made narrower (in the horizontal direction) so they are below the 4″ threshold for discounted 4 layer PCBs at JLCPCB.  This is a promised update for the 2 MB card, and is the first release of the 1 MB 8372 card.  No changes have been made to the circuit for the 2 MB card, just the board layout.

This means the first stage of the SMD2000 project is now completed.  If you wish to build one please comment on the ARB Forum.  It’s an expensive project to undertake on your own but in groups of five or more (JLC’s minimum order) it’s much more economical, so I’m happy to match groups of constructors who are geographically close so they can order together and save.

Finally, Here are some pictures of mine in the ML09 case.
