Word Processing on the Amiga?
« on: August 19, 2020, 01:55:39 pm »
Is anyone still doing any word processing on the Amiga? and if so what Package are you using?

I had the need recently to retrieve some notes I had saved from many years ago, all intact but i have been a bit inspired by "quantum8"'s walk trough to have a look at some if the ones I had done and I think they where done in TextCraft?

I used Kindwords back in the day, mainly because it came with the A500 Starter pack.  I upgraded to Wordsworth after trying a demo on a Coverdisk and found it to be pretty good.

Nowadays, it's all MS-Word, just because of the cloud file saves.

I still do have a legit copy of WordWorth and my Amithlon package came with AmigaWriter. However I have found that most of my old documents I can find are TextCraft! Pretty sure AmigaWriter reads them directly and going via the Amithlon Laptop would make the transfer to PC easy!
