OCS/ECS Game of the Month for November 2022, is Jackman!
From Amiga Format - November 1997 (page 54) - Over the years there have been more Pacman clones than one would have thought possible, with every Freeware and Shareware author seemingly wanting to prove that he or she can inject something new into a well-worn theme. By attempting to add new depth to the gameplay rather than simply going for flashy graphics and sound effects, Jackman goes a lot further than many such efforts.
Jackman's got the munchies... the best Pacman impersonator ever set against a charming pastel backdrop.

Hi all,
Let's see if I do it right this time.
I think this game is pretty cool.
I've played it a fair bit, to try and get a score worth posting and also fill the high score table with my name against all entries.
The best approach for a high score, is to learn to complete each level inside the time to get the time bonus.
This is indicated by the time counting being white, once it changes to grey, you wont get the time bonus.
Hitting escape will let you start the level over, but if you finish the level and the time counter is grey, you cant restart it, you just move to the next level.
My top score currently is: 7690
My hardware is: AA3000+ 68060@66Mhz OS3.2.1

Thanks for the post joey! I tried to get this going last night on my A500 mini with no success. The ADF linked in the description worked but as the filename suggested it crashes after level 1...
The LHA version tries to boot using WHDLoad but as it is an installer it does nothing (slave not found).
Anyone know how to get running on A500 mini?

Wow, good score joey, I don't think I will be able to match that... not sure if it is my joystick or lack of skill... probably the latter.

Well, best tonight is 1760. I just could not work out how to direct the brick munch move (when you get the big puck)... the only time I progressed was when I fluked it. I think it was level 5 where I got stuck...

Oh Boy! sounds like a battle to get it going! I was hoping to get to them on time this month given the fantastic efforts to get them online so early! But with the present life changes going on I don't think i am going to get to it!
Fingers crossed I may just get a moment if i get to go to the meeting!
