Title: Game Requests
Post by: NinjaKat on October 29, 2019, 05:16:22 pm
Have a favourite game we haven't featured yet in our Game of the Month?
Let us know by replying to this topic and we will consider it in a future month's voting poll.

I would love to suggest some games - how about Banshee or Super Skidmarks? I think that we should have AGA games to include our CD32 brethren. :D

Hi,
Thanks for the suggestions!  These will go into the next poll for sure.  Both of those games are on my waiting-to-play list when I get my A1200 recapping done (in the next few weeks).
Not sure about CD32 as a lot of us (myself included) do not own one (yet).  I guess we (I) could emulate these titles when there is no other option.  Put up a poll?

Is there any CD32 games that weren't released as a general AGA release? I can't think of any!

Either way, CD32 games can be played using WHDLoad on the other AGA machines.

Hi, not 100% sure, but I think this is only OCS/ECS?  I've just put the poll up for December so I will add this one in for Jan OCS/ECS.

Hi All,

Old Amiga games can be interesting and nostalgic to play naturally, but personally, I like the idea of playing new release Amiga games, so that people can support the current developers by buying new Amiga games and then seeing if they can beat each other!

Some suggestions for Classic Amiga current new release games available for purchase we could have a competition with - you can get download versions of these games for much less than the boxed ones linked here:

Reshoot R AGA ( https://www.amigashop.org/product_info.php?products_id=295 )
Traprunner ( https://www.amigashop.org/product_info.php?products_id=289 )
Pong 4K AGA ( https://amiga.net.pl/index.php?lng=eng&kwt=10010&tms=427 )
Skillgrid AGA ( https://rgcd.bigcartel.com/product/skillgrid-amiga )
PowerGlove Reloaded ( https://rgcd.bigcartel.com/product/powerglove-reloaded-amiga )
Tiger Claw ( https://rgcd.bigcartel.com/product/tiger-claw-amiga )
Zerosphere ( https://www.polyplay.xyz/Zerosphere-Collectors-Edition-Amiga-Diskette_1 )
Tanks Furry ( http://amiga.net.pl/index.php?kwt=10010&tms=42&lng=eng )
Worthy ( https://pixelglass.org/ )
Bridge Strike ( https://amiga.net.pl/index.php?lng=eng&kwt=10010&tms=408 )

Wow, so many great new games on Amiga, and I certainly haven't captured all of them.

Black Dawn Rebirth is due out very shortly too, although this type of game doesn't lend itself to hiscore competitions. https://doublesidedgames.com/shop/commodore/commodore-amiga/black-dawn-rebirth/

Of course, if you also want to play no cheats Amiga games hiscore wars from 1980's, 90's and 00's I am up for that too :-)

Epsilon

Simulcra, more people need to experience this fun game - works on unexpanded OCS machines too!

Hi Power,
Seems this is only an OCS game, so will add to the game requests for that category.
Thanks!
NinjaKat.

Not sure if this one is on our list, but it looked good from "birdhandler"'s post
