September 2024 - Walker
« on: September 01, 2024, 08:58:18 am »
OCS/ECS Game of the Month for September 2024, is Walker

The story begins with a powerful machine called the Walker, designed to combat the Endalion Time Force. The Walker is a formidable weapon, towering over the battlefield with its advanced technology and immense size. The game is set in a future where time travel is used strategically in warfare. The Endalion forces have been sending commandos back in time to alter the course of history, giving them a significant advantage. In response, the Myarn high command developed the Walker to counter these threats and protect their timeline.

This is one of the classic games I played on my A500 back in the day.

It's a great game, both visually and how it feels to play.
Unfortunately I find I lose interest after I've been at it for a couple of levels.
Awesome for a quick blast but not holding my attention long enough to get a good score.

I'm afraid I wasn't very good at it years ago and I'm still pretty awful.  ;D

My Score: 102090

Played on my AA3000+, no keys, passwords or cheats were used.
A1200 PiStorm32, AA3000+, CD32 TF1230, A600 Furia, A500 PiStorm, A2000 GVP 030 and A3000 3660.
