It was very 'smart' of the random picked game from AGS this month, with the Australian Open tennis event coming up.  The GOTHEM for January is 'Advantage Tennis'!  a great old tennis game! Have fun!

November 2020 - Pinball Dreams
« on: November 01, 2020, 09:39:34 am »
OCS/ECS Game of the Month for November, 2020, is Pinball Dreams!

Pinbal Dreams has four tables (note that we are only playing the Ignition table this month):

  • "Ignition", themed around a rocket launch, planets, and space exploration. The Expert Software's Pinball 2000 port of the game renamed this table "Rocket".
  • "Steel Wheel", themed around steam trains and the Old West.
  • "Beat Box", themed around the music industry, charts, bands and tours.
  • "Nightmare", themed around a graveyard, ghosts, demons, nightmares and generally evil things. Unlike the other tables in the game, the name of the table in the menu did not reflect the name displayed on the table itself - "Graveyard".

Information:
  • Amiga Hardware: OCS, ECS
  • Release Year: 1992
  • Disks: 2
  • WHDLoad: Yes
  • Players: 8
  • Publisher: 21st Century
  • Developer: Digital Illusions

Links to game information:

Please refer to the 'Game of the Month Rules and Participation' post for information on how to participate!  Good Luck!

* To qualify for the game of the month, you must play the Ignition table, single player.

Got a slightly better score now: 3652689.

Probably won't have time to play any more this month so I still might get pipped at the post!

Intangybles and I got together for a tech session - I was repairing and upgrading an original Xbox, and Mark was testing his pi400.
We had a small opportunity to play Pinball Dreams.  Mark's best was 1069489, on the aforementioned pi400.
