New to GOTHEM - One game to rule them all!  No more OCS/ECS/AGA mixup - just play on any Amiga or emulator!  Have fun!  This month, Sneech!  No idea what this is but came up in a random Amiga search.  Enjoy!

March 2020 - Alien Breed II: The Horror Continues
« on: February 29, 2020, 11:42:13 pm »
AGA Game of the Month for March, 2020, is Alien Breed II: The Horror Continues!

Alien Breed II: The Horror Continues has Gauntlet-influenced gameplay, similar to the original Alien Breed (and the Alien Breed Special Edition '92), but with many new features. As one of four Interplanetary Corps soldier, you must visit a remote alien-infested colony and destroy the alien invaders. The game is split over 3 main towers: Civilian, Military and Science.

There are also corridors linking them and outdoor levels. In total there are 17 zones, each featuring numerous different aliens and backgrounds. As you go through the game you collect credits, which can be traded for weapons, ammunition and other enhancements through the in-game computers. Keys are collected as you progress, which must be used wisely, as there are many rooms containing bonuses that don’t have to be entered. Just like before, the game can be played solo or with a friend.

Information:
  • Amiga Hardware: OCS/ECS/AGA (We are playing the AGA version!)
  • Release Year: 1993
  • Disks: 3
  • WHDLoad: Yes
  • Players: 1 or 2 (Simultaneous)
  • Publisher: Team 17
  • Developer: Team 17

Please refer to the 'Game of the Month Rules and Participation' post for information on how to participate!  Good Luck!

* To qualify for the game of the month, you must play single player, on the AGA version of the game.

Another one where I probably need to read the manual!  No idea what I was doing and came across a door I had no idea how to open, and soon was shredded by choppers pretty quickly.  I'm positive this is a terrible score, but thought I'd start somewhere!

Score: 38000 on my Amiga 1200 WHDLoad.
